Maya D. Guardian jewels take two elements from the film “Meshes Of The Afternoon” by Maya Deren: the eye and the knife. The eye, symbol of knowledge, combined with the knife, symbol of strength and discernment, generated the figure of a guardian.

We create each jewel entirely by hand, from wax sculpture to metal finishing. For this reason, any small imperfections give value and authenticity to the jewel, making it unrepeatable.
