We have chosen a longer but more precious and valuable path. This is why we need 15 working days to produce each unique piece in Rome, avoiding waste and reducing our ecological footprint.

Our designs are born from an idea or inspiration that is transferred to paper in one or more SKETCHES of what will be a new jewel.

The Eclipse earcuffs with their circular shape and raised edge, smooth or covered with zircons, are inspired by the hypnotic play of light of the astronomical meeting between the Moon and the Sun.

Once the prototype has been created, it is placed in a rubber mold which allows us to create REPRODUCTIONS of the original model thanks to the use of a specific wax which is heated and injected into the impression. Each wax reproduction is then retouched by hand and taken to the next stage.

This is where the magic happens! During the MELTING the jewel finally begins to take on its metallic shape.

It is the ancient “lost wax” technique, the same used by the Egyptians and the ancient Greeks. It bears this name because inside the ovens the wax is lost, or melts, to leave a void in the plaster which will be faithfully filled by the molten metal.

This is where the magic happens! During the MELTING the jewel finally begins to take on its metallic shape.

It is the ancient “lost wax” technique, the same used by the Egyptians and the ancient Greeks. It bears this name because inside the ovens the wax is lost, or melts, to leave a void in the plaster which will be faithfully filled by the molten metal.

From the casting the jewels come out rough and we move on to FINISHING at the bench to level the surfaces of the jewel with a drill and files, remove the porosity and eliminate the excess metal which will then be recycled for new productions.

In the case of Eclipse Pavè earcuffs, we then move on the SETTING of the stones which are mounted by hand along the perimeter of the earring, one by one.

The process then continues with polishing (VI) and, in the case of the bronze variant, ends with 18k gold-plating (VII).
